I have read about love languages for adults and have put that into practice with my family. I didn't realize they had a book on love languages for children! I definitely will be looking into purchasing that. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Lucia,
Thank you for the post of the reading material. The topics sound very entertaining and enlightening to share. As child care providers we can never enough reading material for story time and to feed into activity usage. I have heard of the 5 Love Languages for children but haven't had the chance to read them. I am going to purchase for my own children too. The additional reading,"How to Talk So Kids Will Listen & Listen so Kids Will Talk" sounds like a perfect read and guidance book for dealing with children beyond the surface. Has we have been learning through the course so far, to understand the total child this would be a great resource in applying that concept Thanks!
Lucia,
I keep meaning to read the 5 Love Languages of a Child, I know it would be interesting reading. I have read the book How to Talk so Kids Will Listen and Listen so Kids Will Talk, it was very informative. I read a another book along the same lines that was also a good read, I believe the name of it was "Please Don't Sit on the Children".
Hi Lucia,
Nice post and additional resource to your blog. I have never come across any of these books, but they sound so interesting and I know they will be useful both at home and in the classroom.
